Question: Is your API free?

Answer:

All first party plugins are free and the API, there maybe a cost with third party plugins and the implementation of both


Question: How to request for the API?

Answer:

The API is simply a protocol that allows for communication between two applications. This means that you receive the data, and can then decide what to do with it, making all the below mentioned features possible.


Question: Capturing delivery details?

Answer:

Address details on the checkout page, that a shopper fills out.


Question: How to capture local and international addresses?

Answer:

Address are capture on checkout, you can manage them on collivery.net under addresses


Question: How to change address?

Answer:

You can manage you addresses on collivery.net under addresses


Question: What do you do to get the plugin to work out the shipping cost?

Answer:

A live request is sent to our server with the delivery details. Various factors such as weight, height, address type, time on service are used to determine the cost.


Question: How do I integrate with MDS Collivery?

Answer:

We offer several plugins for your eCommerce systems and an API for custom integrations. There are also several third-party plugins and companies that integrate with us.

Question: How do I set up zones in my Woocommerce installation?

Answer:

Question: How do I set up the size of my package?

Answer:

Most  eCommerce systems give you the option to add shipping dimensions of the products in your shop.

Question: How do I get updates for the plugins?

Answer:

Updates will appear in your Wordpress "Plugins" page, you can update from there. 


VirtueMart

You can update from inside of your "MDS Collivery Configuration" page. See here for more information.


For other plugins, new versions can be downloaded from their pages on collivery.net

Question: Which versions of my eCommerce system is the plugin compatible with?

Answer:

See each respective plugin's page for which versions of respective eCommerce platform they are compatible with.

Question: Which services are available in the plugins?

Answer:

All of our first-party plugins support:

Next Day (ONX)

Next Day before 10:00 (ONX_10)

Question: How do I set up my collection location?

Answer:

WooCommerce:

Your collection and delivery locations can be set upon confirming MDS shipping, presuming you have "Automatic MDS Processing" disabled. See here for more information

OpenCart

You can set your default collection address in your MDS Collivery extension settings. See here for more information.


The Magento and Virtuemart plugins use your default address, which can be changed on your profile at collivery.net/profile


Question: What are you comparing the price too?

Answer:

Most people often compare with quick quotes which  do not include time base, surcharges.


There are settings in the configurations that add a markup, also to consider the product weight, dimensions unit of measurements. 

Then if none of those does not clear up, please contact integration@collivery.net.


Question: Why are prices not pulling through?

Answer:

The logins that you’re using for the plugin, also work on collivery.net website. If your plugin has the ability to clear cache, please do so.


Question: What causes high shipping prices?

Answer:

Check the units of your products that are configured with. It should be in centimeters and kilograms. (Look at the answer of Discrepancy between the price we get from API when creating a waybill)


Question: The custom id has already been taken

Answer:

Custom id is unique per customer.


Question: Why can I not accept my waybill?

Answer:

If you’re in a prepaid account, the payment urls are sent to the plugin. Please check your order notes.


Question: Who can receive delivery packages?

Answer:

If you have selected Rica or consignee only, the listed contact delivery contact can receive the package. If not, anyone at the address can receive the delivery.


Question: If I cancel an order in the back end will it cancel on the MDS Collivery account?

Answer:

No, be sure to cancel your waybill on the collivery.net or contact our offices.


Question: How to get credited by MDS?

Answer:

If you believe there has been an error with your waybill, please contact our customer services support@collivery.co.za


Question: How to view statement balance?

Answer:

In dashboard got to administration then invoices


Question: Add/remove users on our account.

Answer:

You can manage your users on collivery.net, under Administration then users. Any users can use the plugin
